And with the Oddyssey Mobile V4, you have everything you need to plan the perfect trip.

The Deluo Bluetooth GPS is about the size of a small cell phone and weighs mere ounces, so it is easy to just tuck into your laptop bag, briefcase or even your pocket when you are going somewhere. Even though it is small, this device utilizes a built-in SiRF Star III high-sensitivity chip set to deliver fast satellite acquisition with low power consumption. What's more, this GPS receiver has a built-in WAAS/EGNOS demodulator in order to provide unmatched accuracy and performance, and further enhanced signal reception. The ideal companion for sales people, business travelers and vacationers alike, the reliable Deluo Bluetooth GPS can be used anywhere in the world without any monthly service fees.

This software features an intuitive user interface and patented input methods that allow quick destination entry by address, crossroad and points of interest. Odyssey Mobile incorporates the industry leading SDAL format (developed by NAVTEQ) to provide better route calculation, smooth map display, advance search function, and superior voice guidance. The SDAL format is supported by major GPS providers such as Magellan, Microsoft, Clarion, Infogation, Panasonic and Pioneer. This software requires a Pocket PC or Pocket PC Phone Edition device running at least Windows Mobile 2003, 166 MHz or greater processor, 32 MB of RAM, and at least 128 MB of storage capability.

The Deluo Bluetooth GPS is specially designed with enhanced algorithms that provide superior navigation performance in urban, canyon and foliage environments, so you can rely on it in virtually any landscape. This GPS receiver has 20 parallel satellite-tracking channels for fast acquisition and reacquisition, so it can even be used to improve the accuracy of your current navigation software. Perfect for car or marine navigation, fleet management, tracking system applications and more, the easy-to-use Deluo Bluetooth GPS is compatible with Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP), so can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled device without requiring any installation.

The Deluo Bluetooth GPS has an on-board rechargeable lithium-ion battery that allows it at least six hours (averages 10 hours) of continuous operation for the ultimate in mobility. This GPS receiver includes an on/off switch for conserving power when not in use, and measures only 2.76 x 0.89 x 1.73 inches (W x H x D). This unit has a once-per-second navigation update rate, and is backed by a manufacturer's one-year warranty. The Deluo Bluetooth GPS requires only that your device have a Bluetooth connection (external or internal), and an operating system such as Windows, Linux or Mac OS X that supports SPP.

Pharos PK032 Pocket GPS Navigator iPAQ 2200/3800/3900/4100/5000 Series US Maps plus Car Charger

The Pocket GPS Navigator is the perfect navigation solution for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs. Included in this kit is the iGPS-360 convertible receiver with a sync-cable connector and car charger which powers the GPS while charging your Pocket PC simultaneously. The iGPS-360 receiver is a small, slim, and highly sensitive GPS receiver, and is convertible to meet your multi-functional navigation needs (i.e. CF, USB, Bluetooth with optional accessories). The iGPS-360 receiver comes with the cables that connect to the sync-port of your Pocket PC. Includes Ostia, Pharos' award-winning navigation software for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and detailed street-level maps (of entire US or Canada). With Ostia installed on your Pocket PC, locating your current position, or finding a destination or point of interest (POI) is fast and simple. Routes can be calculated and viewed. Once you're in your vehicle, simply activate the navigation program and begin traveling; the automated voice-prompts will instruct you when and where to turn. If by chance you go "off route", the automated voice will give an off-route warning. Simply push the "Action" button on your Pocket PC and the system will reroute you to your destination from your current position.
Customer Review: Easy to use, but not as good as most built-in DVD-based car models
I received this as a gift recently; it's the second Pharos GPS system I've had some contact with. Compared with the Secure Digital model, this unit is much faster locking onto the satellites (never taken more than 10-20 seconds to lock on, where the SD model could take minutes), and the unit rarely loses lock during travel. Additionally, this kit includes a charging cable that not only powers the GPS receiver portion (required unless you get either the Bluetooth adaptor with battery or the CF Card adaptor), but also powers the PocketPC, not only saving battery life but also preventing the unit from turning off mid-drive when you don't touch the screen every few minutes! Ostia, the Pocket PC-based mapping software included, is pretty decent and easy to use, but it's only updated annually, and has some deficiencies in the northern Virginia area I live and work in. For instance, several street names are misspelled, and while the Points of Interest for Maryland, Washington DC, and northern Virginia has two listings for the Baltimore Ravens stadium, there's not one for the Washington Redskins stadium (whose address is also misspelled, it's FedEx not Fedeex). On-the-fly routing is pretty fast and accurate, and the ability to find things like restaurants in the vicinity is very helpful. In addition to the typos on some streets, there's some other idiosyncracies to learn. For instance, when looking up intersections or addresses, you often have to know an area name, rather than a city/town name. And while the integration with the Pocket PC's Contacts list allows you to find routes to contacts, it apparently only reads/accesses the Home Address, so business contacts can't be routed to. On the other hand, I don't know the home addresses of too many of my business contacts, so putting their work address in the home address slot fixes this issue easily. I'll agree partially with the reviewers who complained that they bought the item based on the Amazon product name and picture, only to find they didn't include a handheld PC. Where I agree is that Amazon should rewrite the product name (it's not how the manufacturer describes it on their website at http://www.pharosgps.com/products/hp/iPAQ5450/PK032.htm), and should also have a disclaimer (just like Pharos does on the box) that the Pocket PC is not included. Where I disagree is that you have to keep in mind that Pocket PCs cost over $200 by themselves; adding a GPS receiver, car charger, and mapping software onto it and expecting it to be under $200 still isn't very realistic. The bad ratings below should have been complaints to Amazon about the advertising, not a bad rating for the product itself.
Customer Review: Very unhappy!
I just brought this product and openned box to find that handheld computer was not in the box. I think it is false advertisement because the picture shows everything and that is what I thought I had, everything! I am very disappointed with this purchase. I have made several orders over the last month and this was my first disappointment and hopefully, my last!

Pharos PF022 Pocket GPS Portable Navigator Kit with CompactFlash GPS Receiver works with Most Pocket PCs

Compatible with most Pocket PCs with a CompactFlash slot, the Pocket GPS Portable Navigator combines the portability of a CompactFlash GPS receiver with Ostia, Pharos' award-winning street routing and navigation software. With the navigation software installed on your Pocket PC, you can drive or walk through any city in the US, and locate your current position or quickly find a destination or point of interest. Routes can be calculated and viewed. The automated voice prompts will instruct you when and where to turn. If by chance you go "off-route", the automated voice will give an off-route warning and the system will automatically reroute you to your destination from your current position. The included MobilePak includes a vent-mounted PDA holder, and universal car adaptor, and an auxiliary external antenna for the receiver.
Customer Review: Not compatible with 5400/5500 iPaqs
Wish there had been some mention of this before I got it. The antenna on the 5400 and 5500 series of iPaqs makes it physically impossible to plug this in using a standard CF sleeve. Supposedly it can work if you use a dual CF sleeve.
Customer Review: From an Everyday User: Big Improvements Needed
Bottom line: Huge improvements needed but gets a 4 because it's the most comprehensive of what's available for PDAs. I am a financial consultant and am on the road everyday to new residences and businesses, giving me in-depth knowledge about this particular product. Because many good reviews are listed, I will focus more the drawbacks. Read on for the nitty-gritty details. The Maps: The maps can be huge, ranging from a couple megabytes to 15 megabytes. You'll need plenty of memory and a fast PDA. What a map covers depends on how dense the city is. Los Angeles requires about 4 maps while Riverside county is covered in two maps. You can only load 3 maps at a time, so if you're travelling long distances, your destination may have to be somewhere along the highway. Once you get there, load a different set of maps. Loading more maps, though, will reset your start/end points as well as your route. So you'll need to renter the information. Also, the more maps are open, the slower it is to pan across the map. Finding yourself: Unlike a static map, the GPS can track your location or you can search by contacts, address, intersection, or major points of interest. Unfortunately, it only lists major venues (e.g. stadiums, major shopping centers) and not places like gas stations (a major drawback). Searching for an intersection without knowing the city can be quite tedious. You first enter a street name, then the city, then the next street name. So if the city is unknown and the first street appears in several cities, you have to try each city until you find the second street. The GPS: If you use the system in your car, as I do, the GPS is a mixed blessing. When first starting the system, it may take a LONG time before getting a fix - if you're stopped. If you try to get a fix while moving, that drastically reduces your chances of getting a fix at all. After that, however, it is quick at requisition after going under tunnels and such. Because being in a car weakens the signal, it has a hard time following you after making turns. You may have made a left, but it still shows you as going straight. This is especially frustrating when you cannot stop and wait for it to tell you which way to turn, as in a highway exit with a green light. If you know this will happen, you best look at the directions and memorize the turns. Also, because of the weakened signal, the voice might keep saying, "you are off-route," either because it hasn't yet taken into account that you made a turn or simply because it can't quite pin-point where you are and has you located as driving off-road through blocks of houses. Expect this to happen frequently in mountainous areas or in downtown areas with tall buildings. Routing: Routing is a mixed blessing as well. You can route by fastest, shortest, or no highway, and you have a voice telling you where to go. It is fairly quick at routing when you only have one map open. If you're travelling across three maps, it might take a while. Also, it is supposed to reroute you when you have gone off-course, but it rarely ever does that, meaning you have to take your eyes off the road and manually tell it to find a new route. Perhaps the biggest drawback is the amount of time it gives itself before telling you that a turn is coming up. On streets, it makes announcements 0.1 miles before street turns and 0.5 miles before highway exits, meaning you better keep an eye on how far away you are from your next turn. Also, the maps do not use highway-exit names. For example, the Santa Monica exit off the 405 North in California puts you on a street called Cotner Ave, which in actuality is just an off-ramp with a street name. The directions will tell you to exit onto Cotner Ave, meaning you will miss it because you will never see a Cotner Ave. exit on the highway signs. And if the off-ramp does not have a name or does not immediately exit onto a street, it will simply say to exit onto the off-ramp. Along those lines, you better remember your destination address because it doesn't show it to you in the text directions. I always have to switch back to my Outlook Contacts to look at the address because the map will get you to the block, not the specific address (probably to save memory). By the way, the voice simply tells you a turn is coming up - it doesn't actually say the name. But that is forgivable in order to save memory. The map always displays in large font what is coming up and the distance left to make the next turn as well as the distance remaining to your destination. Battery Life and Memory: This product drains your batteries and the maps take up a lot of memory, so it would be prudent to get a car adapter and at least a 256MB flash memory module. Do NOT get compactflash because that slot will be taken by the GPS unit. Bottom Line: Obvously, there is MUCH room for improvement. I tried many competing products and this one was, by far, the most comprehensive. There are products that list restaurants and gas stations, but use TINY maps of which you can only load one at a time and have limited search, routing, and GPS features. Others have better GPS sensitivity but are much more expensive. Others can show a cross-country route from start to finish on a single map but again, lack in other features.

Garmin nüvi 265W/265WT 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Integrated Traffic Receiver

Garmin nüvi 265WT 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Text-to-Speech, Bluetooth, and Free Traffic
Customer Review: Great unit for the price, highly recommended
I bought this unit in May and have been using it for about 6 weeks. It's lived up to pretty much all of the expectations I've had. The unit is easy to read, and the onscreen displays give you everything you need. I love being able to check my current speed, estimated arrival time and even the current speed limit at a glance. I paired this with an MSN direct receiver which has saved me a good chunk of time while traveling in Madison, WI. Where the unit could use a limit improvement would be with the route redirection. When I miss a turn, whether accidently or deliberately, it takes more time than I would like to reroute me. Most of the time there isn't an issue, but a couple times it's caused a delay. The other is with the bluetooth. The sound that comes out of unit for the bluetooth is only adequate for the occasional call and shouldn't be relied on for daily use. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the unit, although I didn't gain a lot from going with a unit that included bluetooth.
Customer Review: Accurate and user friendly
This product proved to be very effective in getting me where I wanted to go. I purchased it to replace an old unit and this one worked to perfection. The bluetooth allowed me to link my phone with the gps and I was able to drive and answer call effortless. I would certainly reccommend the product for those who are seeking a gps that is easy to use and comparable for getting you where you want to go.

GARMIN 010-00459-00 Portable Fishfinder 90

Ideal for use on any vessel where space is at a premium, the Garmin Fishfinder 90 marine GPS is a compact, user-friendly entry level sonar that makes finding fish simpler than ever. This system features a patented transom/trolling mount, dual-beam transducer with user-selectable 14 degree or 45 degree views to give you better shallow water performance, and a wide viewing angle of 60 degrees to let you see fish--even off the sides of the boat. Designed to give you fast and clear information when you need it, the Fishfinder 90's black on white, 64 x 128 pixel display offers one of the sharpest screens for the money and the Ultrascroll option lets you enjoy a much faster refresh rate on the sonar display. This system also delivers automatic display re-scaling on range change, so you won't have to worry about vertical lines obscuring your readings. For added convenience, the power-down backup feature ensures that your settings will not be lost when the unit is turned off.

The Fishfinder 90 offers additional features, including a 2X and 4X automatic and manual zoom, 600 foot depth, and technology that shows weak and strong returns simultaneously, that make it easy and fun to find the perfect catch. And thanks to alarms for fish size, shallow water, deep water, and low battery (so your Fishfinder will never suddenly run out of power without warning), you'll have an informed advantage that will pay off in better fish stories than ever before.

What's in the Box
Fishfinder 90, transom mount transducer with integrated power cable, mounting bracket with tilt, and owner's manual.
Customer Review: Not a new unit
The unit arrived in the appropriate time. However, I discovered that the unit was a return (the original purchaser's note was still in the box with the unwrapped finder). It was obvious that the unit had been returned and had been used.
Customer Review: Seems to work really well
What can I say? I didn't know the first thing about fishfinders when I bought this unit to install in my Hobie Kayak. Didn't even know how it worked, but I wanted to know where the fish were. Installation in the kayak was pretty much a breeze although I was scared stiff to drill a hole for the wiring that plugs into the display. But it turned out better than I thought. (Gives himself a pat on the back!) As far as the transducer was concerned, I found out that you can install it inside the hull and it still works pretty well ... although you don't get a good reading on the temperature. Duh! cause it can get warm inside the hull so you get the temperature reading inside the hull instead of the water! LOL! But as far as giving depth ranges and fish location, it does a good/great? job. I think! But I can't truly admit that I used it to catch fish because that's debatable. Let's just say that I certainly saw fish going by (according to the indicator/display), and it gave the depth ranges of all the fish swimming by, but catching them is another matter. ... and OH yes,it gives good audible signals as in when you're in shallow water and about to trash your rudder! Don't know what happens when you suddenly come across a sandbar ... probably comes to a sudden stop and your kayak flips over on it's side. While the sunbathers all laugh at you as you flop around on the sand like a fish out of water! Not a KODAK moment! Keep in mind that this review is on the unit and NOT on the user's fishing prowess... OK?

Customer Review: EH
It works alright, but there are no map updates! Roads change so often and a lot of the newer addresses I put in cannot be found! Nextar does not offer map updates, which will make this obsolete in no time. Very unfortunate, because it works fairly well otherwise.
Customer Review: Would be better if map updates were available
I usually don't have a problem with the unit acquiring a signal and have been using it pretty heavily for almost a year now with no crashes, lockups or anything like that. However, the lack of any map updates is getting very troubling. Even though I received my unit as a gift for Christmas 2007, its map seems to be much older than that. For example, my house was built in 2004 and my X3-02 doesn't know that my subdivision exists. Since I visit growing towns a lot, it can be very frustrating. If you live in or travel to an area with a lot of new construction and/or road changes, I'd recommend you buy a GPS from a company that makes map updates easily available. Unfortunately, Nextar is not such a company.

Customer Review: Decent but has a flaw
I bought this model for my wife and she has been pretty happy with it. Compared to the built-in GPS in my Mazda this unit is inferior. It is slower and has fewer features and the turn-by-turn directions are not as accurate. It is very easy to use and does a reasonable job. A couple of times it had the last turn to a destination wrong as it told us to turn right when it was a left turn. I suppose when you're within a couple of blocks of your destination it doesn't really matter much under most circumstances, but it was a bit disappointing as my Mazda's unit has never done that. Another flaw is that it will not let you look up rural addresses. So, if you are looking for a rural route address such as 3W121 it will let you look up an address with that format. This is a huge flaw. Again, the built-in unit in my car has no trouble doing this. The unit is very easy to use and the touch-screen is nice. Be sure to at least get a wide-screen unit it makes a pretty big difference.
Customer Review: I should have bought a Garmin
I bought this around last Christmas and it really only worked properly for about two months. Several times I have seen it mysteriously already turned on when I've gone to use it and yes, I know for certain that I shut it off prior. Once I actually saw it power up on it's own from across the kitchen. I live by myself and do not believe my property is on some native burial ground. When it works, it works great but too often my device does not connect to a GPS signal or even turn on properly. I treat my electronics with care so I do not believe it has anything to do with the way that I handle it. When I was seeking a GPS device, I went with the cheaper TomTom despite being advised to go with Garmin. I should have listened.

The protection provided by the invisibleSHIELD is unique, not only in the way it keeps your device from getting unsightly scratches, but also how it doesn't add any bulk or obscure the sleek aesthetic design of your Garmin eTrex Vista. If your invisibleSHIELD ever becomes scratched or otherwise damaged while protecting your device, don't worry, all invisibleSHIELDs are backed by a lifetime guarantee. Simply send it back to Shieldzone and they will send a replacement, for free, for life!
